Each week, our therapeutic women’s circle will delve into various aspects of healing and self-discovery, including:

Breathwork: Learn the power of breath to release pent-up emotions, soothe your nervous system, and cultivate inner calm.

Theoretical Tools:

  • Internal Family Systems model: Gain insights into your inner world and uncover the parts of you that may have been hidden or suppressed.
  • The Body Keeps the Score, Understanding Resistance: Explore the barriers that have held you back from achieving your goals and break free from them.
  • Emotional Regulation System: Discover effective techniques to manage and express your emotions in a healthy way, promoting emotional balance and resilience.

Somatic-Based Meditation Practice: Immerse yourself in mindfulness practices that reconnect you to your body and help you find inner peace.

Movement: Embrace the joy of moving your body, allowing emotions to flow freely and revitalising your spirit.

Dialogue: Engage in open and supportive conversations with like-minded women, fostering connection, understanding, and growth.

Recovering Creativity & Spontaneity: Rediscover your innate creativity and spontaneity, unlocking your potential for self-expression and self-empowerment.

Connecting to Intuition & Desire: Tap into your inner wisdom, reconnect with your deepest desires, and align with your authentic self.

Connecting to Your Body: Cultivate a profound connection with your body, nurturing self-compassion and self-acceptance.

More about your facilitators

Dr Ileana Hatton is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. She completed three degrees from the University of Sydney, including her PhD in meditation-based treatment of anxiety disorders. After leaving university, Ileana worked for 5 years from 2010 – 2015 for Medecins sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders) providing psychological support in the Occupied Palestinian territories (West Bank), East Jerusalem and Ethiopia. Back in Sydney, Ileana has worked across community mental health settings, youth health, sexual assault as well as private practice. After going through her own healing journey with Stage 4 endometriosis, Ileana went in search of non-medicalised answers and finally was able to conceive her two children naturally without intervention.

Informed by her own struggle in this area, Ileana is passionate about the intersection between body and mind, especially in the deep healing of chronic health problems including chronic pain, reproductive and womb issues and thyroid issues. Her treatment method draws from Hakomi, Internal Family Systems and schema therapy approaches.

Asnat Meretz is a passionate individual, spiritual leader and creative entrepreneur who weaves between worlds, wearing many hats; she’s a woman, a wife, a mother, a child, a sister, a yogi, a psychotherapist, a teacher, a student and a friend. With over 25 years experience working with people of all ages in education, counselling, psychotherapy, yoga and breathwork, Asnat firmly believes that the quality of our relationships is a mirror of our relationship with ourselves. By understanding how we can bring our body, mind and spirit into balance and create a deep inner connection, we can feel more happiness and peace in our daily lives.

Asnat’s diverse background has taken her all over the world, from Israel, to Hong Kong and now the vibrant landscape of Australia, where she’s been able to make a positive impact on the people in her community through her beautiful yoga studio, my asana, and her psychotherapy offerings and support.
